Hekman Home Services is owned and operated by Rene and Steph Hekman. Rene leads construction in the field. Steph leads customer communication, sales, project planning and design perspective, with close attention to the small details that matter to each customer. Together they connect what is discovered on site with the choices, scope and updates that keep the project moving.
Steph’s construction knowledge also comes from lived experience. She worked alongside Rene as they gutted and renovated every space in their Hilltop home, learning how design choices, sequencing, budget and day-to-day life connect during a whole-home transformation.
That direct involvement matters when one visible issue turns out to affect a wall, a floor or the room beside it. Decisions are explained in context, approved before extras proceed and carried through to the final details.

Rene brings 25 years of construction experience and leads the work in the field—from opening walls and understanding repair conditions to the preparation and finish details that make a renovation hold together.
